We recruit and train highly qualified educators and certified support staff to maximize our program success. We provide professional development opportunities for our educators to build on their skills in order to better serve each individual scholar to grow to their highest capability. We work in collaboration with families and communities to improve the whole child to become lifelong learners.
Mrs. Shannan Ramsay
Director
Mrs. Ramsay is the founder, Director, and Head Teacher of Step With Purpose, LLC. She holds a BA in Liberal Arts and has a Child Development Associate certification (CDA). She was a consultant in the child day care service industry before starting her own Group Family Day Care.

Mrs. Ramsay is committed to helping our students explore and learn in a hands-on and strength-based learning environment. Nothing brings Mrs. Shannan more happiness than seeing the growth and success of our students.
Ms. Christel Gregory
On Site Provider & Lead Teacher
Ms. Christel has 10 years of experience in childcare and is currently earning her Child Development Associate (CDA).With a nurturing personality and hands-on approach towards learning, we are thrilled to have Ms. Christel as a part of our team. Her warmth, creativity, and commitment to early childhood education and development makes her the perfect lead teacher.

Ms. Jennifer Taylor
Assistant Teacher
Ms. Jenn has over 1 year of childcare experience. Possessing enthusiasm, Ms. Jenn has been an amazing asset for Step With Purpose, LLC. Her compassion, creativity, and drive makes Ms. Jenn, a wonderful colleague and a lovely assistant teacher. Bilingual English/ Spanish.

Ms. Erica 'Mira' Joseph
Assistant Teacher
Ms. Mira graduated from Dickinson College in 2012 with a BA in Africana Studies, proudly served as an AmeriCorps volunteer, and taught ESL in Spain as an English language assistant. Being a proud graduate of the New York City public school system, Ms. Mira is dedicated to providing a multicultural & nurturing educational experience to our students. She is currently preparing for graduate school for early childhood education. Bilingual English/ Spanish.
